禱告使聖徒看見釋放靈唱詩歌的重要，好在聚會中湧流生命和靈（弗五18～19，約六63，林前十四15下，補充本詩歌116首，第1、4節）。

弗五18下-19—乃要在靈裡被充滿，用詩章、頌辭、靈歌，彼此對說，從心中向主歌唱、頌詠，

約六63 - 賜人生命的乃是靈，肉是無益的；我對你們所說的話，就是靈，就是生命。

林前十四15下—我要用靈歌唱，也要用心思歌唱。
