교회의 기도를 필요로 하는 것들이 많습니다. 아래에 열거된 기도 항목들은 성도들의 기도와 교회들의 기도에 초점을 제시해주고 또 그 기도들이 풍성하게 하는 도움을 주려는 것입니다. 이 기도 항목들은 제한하는 규정이 아니고 완전한 것도 아닙니다. 또한 율법적으로 채택해야 한다는 의미도 아닙니다. 결국 우리를 위하여, 우리 안에서, 우리를 통하여 하나님과 그분의 뜻에 따라 중보기도하시는 분은 그 영이십니다. 중보기도 하는 사람의 책임은 주님과 한 영이 되고 그리스도와 한 생각을 가지고 그 영의 숨이 불어넣어진 내적인 부담을 해방하는 것입니다.
몸의 모든 한 달란트 받은 지체들이 일어나서 섬김으로써 교회가 전진하고 건축될 수 있는 길을 갖도록 기도합시다(마 25:14-19, 24-27).
