Pray that, in the Lord’s table meeting, the saints would learn to link the section on worshipping the Father to the section on the remembrance of the Lord and would follow the Spirit’s leading to call hymns and offer praises according to the Father’s being and attributes (John 17:6, 26; see Himnos,, Table of Contents – “Worship of the Father”; Himnos,, #18, ss. 1-2, 7-8).

Pray that the saints would learn to function in the Lord’s table meeting in a connected way, coordinating together like a team to pray, speak, and sing hymns and to praise and thank the Lord (Eph. 5:18b-20; Himnos,, #867).

Pray that the saints would learn to speak Christ to one another with the hymns and to sing hymns and spiritual songs in their daily life in order to build up their spirit and their fine and tender feelings to equip themselves to function in the meetings (Eph. 5:18b-19 and notes 19¹, 19²; Col. 3:16 and notes 16⁵, 16⁷; Himnos,, #1141, ss. 1, 3-4).

Pray that the saints would remember the Lord by selecting hymns and offering praises for the Lord’s person, human living, suffering, death, exaltation, and glorification (Phil. 2:5-11; Himnos,, #86).

Pray that the saints would learn to exercise their spirit to sense the atmosphere of the meeting, discern its focus, and apply the hymns at the proper time by following the sense in their spirit (S.S. 7:4 and note 4¹; Phil. 1:9-10; Himnos,, #866, ss. 1-2, 9-10).

Pray that the saints would diligently learn the hymns according to their category, content, central thought, focus, sensation, taste, and tune so that they may select appropriate hymns in the meetings, especially in the Lord’s table meeting (Col. 3:16; see Himnos,, Table of Contents).

Pray that the saints would learn to select hymns in the meetings, especially in the Lord’s table meeting, according to the purpose of the hymns and the principle for selecting hymns (Matt. 26:30; 1 Cor. 14:26; Himnos,, #513, chorus).

Pray that, as the regenerated children of God, the saints would have a definite time and way to worship the Father, the time being after the remembrance of the Lord at the Lord’s table, and the way being to worship the Father under the leadership of Christ as their older Brother (Heb. 2:12 and note 12³; Matt. 26:26-30 and note 30¹; Himnos,, #50, ss. 1, 4).

Pray that the saints would remember the Lord with the issue of declaring His death and expressing their desire for His coming back (1 Cor. 11:26; Matt. 26:29, Himnos,, #221, s. 4 and chorus).

Pray that the saints would learn to properly practice to distribute the bread and the cup when the remembrance of the Lord reaches the high tide and with thanks to the Lord (Luke 22:19-20; Himnos,, #221, ss. 1-3 and chorus).
