Day 99: Prayer for the saints to deal with the Lord under His shining light

Pray for the saints to deal with the Lord not in the way of introspection or in the way of confessing merely according to objective knowledge but in the way of being under the shining of His light in their loving fellowship with Him (S. S. 2:9 and note 9¹; Heb. 12:2; Isa. 6:1, 5; Job 42:5-6 and note 6¹).

Cnt. 2:9—Mi amado es semejante a la gacela o al cervatillo; / helo aquí, está tras nuestra pared, / mirando por las ventanas, / atisbando por las celosías.

He. 12:2—Puestos los ojos en Jesús, el Autor y Perfeccionador de nuestra fe, el cual por el gozo puesto delante de Él sufrió la cruz, menospreciando el oprobio, y se sentó a la diestra del trono de Dios.

Is. 6:1—El año en que murió el rey Uzías, vi yo al Señor sentado sobre un trono alto y sublime, y la cola de Su manto llenaba el templo…Entonces dije: ¡Ay de mí, porque soy muerto! / Pues soy hombre de labios inmundos, / y habito en medio de un pueblo de labios inmundos; / mas han visto mis ojos al Rey, Jehová de los ejércitos.

Job 42:5-6—De oídas había oído de Ti, / mas ahora mis ojos te han visto; / Por tanto me aborrezco, y me arrepiento / en polvo y ceniza.
