Day 74: Prayer for the saints to learn to intercede according to God’s heart

Pray that the saints would learn to intercede not merely according to the outward word of God but according to the inward intention of God’s heart (Gen. 18:22; cf. Rom. 8:26-27). 

Gen. 18:22—And the men turned from there and went toward Sodom, while Abraham remained standing before Jehovah. 

Rom. 8:26-27—Moreover, in like manner the Spirit also joins in to help us in our weakness, for we do not know for what we should pray as is fitting, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. But He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to God.
