Day 70: Prayer for the saints to “blow the trumpets,” to open their mouths to declare the victory of Christ, that the enemy may be fully defeated

Pray that the saints would learn to “blow the trumpets of rams’ horns,” to declare the victory of the cross, the victory of the victorious One, and to proclaim Christ—the Christ they enjoy, the Christ who is the Conqueror over every foe (Josh. 6:6, 10, 20; 2 Cor. 10:4-5).

Josh 6:6, 10, 20—So Joshua the son of Nun called the priests and said to them, Take up the Ark of the Covenant, and let seven priests carry seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the Ark of Jehovah…And Joshua commanded the people, saying, You shall not shout, nor let your voice be heard, nor let a word go forth from your mouth, until the day I say to you, Shout! Then you shall shout…So the people shouted and the trumpets were blown; and when the people heard the trumpet sound, the people shouted with a great shout, and the wall fell down flat. And the people went up into the city, each straight ahead, and they captured the city.

2 Cor. 10:4-5—For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly but powerful before God for the overthrowing of strongholds, as we overthrow reasonings and every high thing rising up against the knowledge of God, and take captive every thought unto the obedience of Christ.
