Day 253: Prayer for the young people to love the Lord and to be “wrecked” for God’s eternal purpose

Pray that the young people would be stirred up in their love for the Lord Jesus and that they would be caught and occupied by God, “wrecked” by Him for His eternal purpose (S. S. 1:2-4a; Matt. 4:18-20).

S. S. 1:2-4a—Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth! / For your love is better than wine. / Your anointing oils have a pleasant fragrance; / Your name is like ointment poured forth; / Therefore the virgins love you. / Draw me; we will run after you.

Matt. 4:18-20—And while He was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. And He said to them, Come after Me, and I will make you fishers of men. And immediately leaving the nets, they followed Him.
