Day 39: Prayer to be Sober-Minded

Pray for the saints to be sober-minded, not being disturbed by fear and anxiety but rather guarded by the peace of God through their prayer (1 Pet. 1:13; Phil. 4:6-7).

1 Pet. 1:13—Therefore girding up the loins of your mind and being sober, set your hope perfectly on the grace being brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Phil. 4:6-7—In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses every man’s understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
