Pray that the saints would daily eat of the Word of God as the embodiment of Christ and would realize that this is a spiritual life necessity (Job 23:12b; Psa. 119:103; Jer. 15:16 and note 161; Matt. 4:4).

Pray that the saints would realize that what glorifies the Lord the most and gives Him the utmost thanks and praises is our calling on the Lord, and that the saints would call on His name in a way that gives Him the praises and thanks (Isa. 12:2-6; Phil. 2:9-11 and notes 101, 111, 112,…

Pray that the saints would build up a practice of calling on the Lord’s name every day so that the Lord will fill them within and be expressed out from them (Acts 7:59; 9:13-14 and note 141; 22:16 and note 162; 1 Cor. 1:2b and note 28; Hymns, #1083, s. 4 and chorus).

Pray that the saints would build up the habit of calling on the name of the Lord whenever they open the Bible to read God’s word (Psa. 119:145-149; John 5:39-40; 2 Cor. 3:6b, Hymns, #1142 ss. 1, 3 and chorus).

Pray that the saints would appreciate the nearness of the Lord and would call on the name of the Lord to enjoy His riches in any place and at any time (Deut. 4:7; Psa. 145:18; Rom. 10:8-9, 12-13 and notes 81, 91, and 121; Hymns, #1083 ss. 1, 3 and chorus).

Pray that the saints would practice calling on the name of the Lord to drink of Him as the springs of salvation (Isa. 12:2-4 and notes 31, 32, and 41; Psa. 116:13; 1 Cor. 12:3b, 13; Hymns, #1340).

Pray that the saints would be uplifted in their appreciation of calling on the name of the Lord—crying out to Him audibly—and would practice calling as their spiritual breathing (Lam. 3:55-57; Psa. 119:147; 2 Sam. 22:7, Hymns, #73).
