Day 303: Prayer for the saints to learn to cherish the new believers

Pray that the saints would learn how to cherish the new believers, taking care of them and making them happy, in such a way that their hearts would be open to the saints and their nourishing (John 21:12-15 and note 12¹; 1 Thes. 2:7 and note 7²; Eph. 5:29 and note 29¹; Hymns, #1068, ss. 1-2 and chorus).

约二一12-15—耶稣对他们说，来吃早饭。门徒中没有一个敢问祂，你是谁？因为知道是主。耶稣就来拿饼给他们，也照样拿鱼给他们。耶稣从死人中复活以后，向门徒显现，这是第三次。他们吃完了早饭，耶稣对西门彼得说，约翰的儿子西门，你爱我比这些更深么？彼得对祂说，主阿，是的，你知道我爱你。耶稣对他说，你喂养我的小羊。

1 Thes. 2:7—But we were gentle in your midst, as a nursing mother would cherish her own children.

Eph. 5:29—For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as Christ also the church.
