祷告使圣徒学习并操练凭着那灵治死身体的行为（罗八12～13，13节注2、注3）。

罗八12-13—弟兄们，这样，我们并不是欠肉体的债，去照肉体活着。因为你们若照肉体活着，必要死；但你们若靠着那灵治死身体的行为，必要活着。
