祷告使圣徒有深刻的印象，他们需要在家中和日常生活中操练讲说并歌唱诗歌，好成为整天在灵里被充满的人，豫备好在聚会里说话、赞美并唱诗（弗五18下～19，徒十六25，诗歌 265首，第1节和副歌）。

弗五18下-19—乃要在灵里被充满，用诗章、颂辞、灵歌，彼此对说，从心中向主歌唱、颂咏，

徒十六25—约在半夜，保罗和西拉祷告唱诗赞美神，众囚犯也侧耳听他们。
