Day 18: Prayer for the saints to realize that the fire on the altar should be kept burning continually

Pray that the saints would see that the fire on the altar should be kept burning continually—“it must not go out”—and would cooperate with God’s desire by adding “wood” to the fire every morning (Lev. 6:9b, 12a, 13 and notes 9², 9³, 9⁴, and 12¹).

Lv. 6:9, 12a-13—Manda a Aarón y a sus hijos, diciendo: Ésta es la ley del holocausto: el holocausto estará encima del altar, en el lugar donde arde el fuego, toda la noche y hasta la mañana, y el fuego del altar ha de mantenerse encendido en éste...El fuego que está sobre el altar se mantendrá encendido en éste; no se apagará. Y el sacerdote quemará leña sobre él cada mañana...El fuego se mantendrá encendido sobre el altar continuamente; no se apagará.
