Day 303: Prayer for the saints to learn to cherish the new believers

Pray that the saints would learn how to cherish the new believers, taking care of them and making them happy, in such a way that their hearts would be open to the saints and their nourishing (John 21:12-15 and note 12¹; 1 Thes. 2:7 and note 7²; Eph. 5:29 and note 29¹; Himnos,, #1068, ss. 1-2 and chorus).

Jn. 21:12-15— Les dijo Jesús: Venid y desayunad. Y ninguno de los discípulos se atrevía a preguntarle: ¿Tú, quién eres? sabiendo que era el Señor. Vino Jesús, y tomó el pan y les dio, y asimismo del pescado. Ésta era ya la tercera vez que Jesús se manifestaba a los discípulos, después de haber resucitado de los muertos. Entonces, cuando hubieron desayunado, Jesús dijo a Simón Pedro: Simón, hijo de Jonás, ¿me amás que éstos? Le respondió: Sí, Señor; Tú sabes que te amo. Él le dijo: Apacienta Mis corderos.

1 Thes. 2:7—But we were gentle in your midst, as a nursing mother would cherish her own children.

Eph. 5:29—For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as Christ also the church.
