Pray that the saints would pray-read the Word in spirit in such a way that it becomes a weapon, a sword, within them, equipping them to defeat God’s enemy, slay the self, and build up the Body that the Lord may gain the victory (Eph. 6:17-18; cf. Heb. 4:12).
Eph. 6:17-18—And receive…the sword of the Spirit, which Spirit is the word of God, by means of all prayer and petition, praying at every time in spirit and watching unto this in all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints.
Heb. 4:12—For the word of God is living and operative and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit and of joints and marrow, and able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
