Day 78: Prayer to see that true prayers are God speaking His words within man and through man

Pray that the saints would see that true prayers are God speaking forth His words from within them and through them, and that such prayers issue from His moving within them, from the Holy Spirit coming to them and explaining God’s intention to them (John 15:7; 16:13-14; 6:63; cf. James 5:17 and note 17¹).

John 15:7—If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.

John 16:13-14—But when He, the Spirit of reality, comes, He will guide you into all the reality; for He will not speak from Himself, but what He hears He will speak; and He will declare to you the things that are coming. He will glorify Me, for He will receive of Mine and will declare it to you.

John 6:63—It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words which I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.

James 5:17—Elijah was a man of like feeling with us, and he earnestly prayed that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months.
