Pray that the saints would be deeply impressed with God’s need for an intercessor and take up the burden to intercede with Him for His people (Isa. 59:16; 1 Tim. 2:1, 3-4, and note 12).

Isa. 59:16—And He saw that there was no man, / And He was appalled that there was no intercessor. / Therefore His arm accomplished salvation for Him, / And His righteousness sustained Him.

1 Tim. 2:1, 3-4—I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings be made on behalf of all men…This is good and acceptable in the sight of our Savior God, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the full knowledge of the truth.
