Prayer for the saints’ prayer to be sustained by the priesthood—by the strengthening of their spirit
Pray for the saints’ prayer to be sustained to defeat Amalek, the flesh, by the help of “Aaron,” the priesthood, by the strengthening of their praying spirit (Exo. 17:11-12; Matt. 26:41; Eph. 3:14, 16; 6:18).
Exo. 17:11-12—And when Moses lifted his hand up, Israel prevailed; and when he let his hand down, Amalek prevailed. But Moses’ hands were heavy, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it; and Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other side. So his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
Matt. 26:41—Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Eph. 3:14, 16—For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father,…that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit into the inner man.
Eph. 6:18—By means of all prayer and petition, praying at every time in spirit and watching unto this in all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints.
