Prayer for the saints’ fighting against Amalek, the flesh, by praying with the interceding Christ
Pray for saints to learn how to fight against Amalek, the flesh, by praying with the interceding Christ (Exo. 17:10-12; Rom. 8:34; Col. 4:2).
Exo. 17:10-12—So Joshua did as Moses had said to him and fought with Amalek; and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. And when Moses lifted his hand up, Israel prevailed; and when he let his hand down, Amalek prevailed. But Moses’ hands were heavy, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it; and Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other side. So his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
Rom. 8:34—Who is he who condemns? It is Christ Jesus who died and, rather, who was raised, who is also at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.
Col. 4:2—Persevere in prayer, watching in it with thanksgiving.
