Day 294: Prayer for the saints to have a burden, an interest, and a care for people in order to gain them

Pray that the saints would have a burden, an interest, and a care for people in order to gain them as the Lord’s increase, and that the saints would bring this matter to the Lord and ask Him to infuse them with His heart for people (1 Thes. 2:1, 7-8; Phil. 4:1).

1 Thes. 2:1, 7-8—For you yourselves know, brothers, our entrance toward you, that it has not been in vain…But we were gentle in your midst, as a nursing mother would cherish her own children. Yearning in this way over you, we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God but also our own souls, because you became beloved to us.

Phil. 4:1—So then, my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, in the same way stand firm in the Lord, beloved.
