Day 290: Prayer for the saints to seek the Lord in His Word in order to be equipped to speak the Word

Pray that Lord would stir up the saints’ interest and seeking after the Lord in His truth and that the saints would build up a daily habit of spending time in the Word with the help of the Recovery Version, the Life-studies, and the ministry books to be equipped with the word to speak the word (1 Tim. 4:6; 2 Tim. 2:15; 3:14-17).

1 Tim. 4:6—If you lay these things before the brothers, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, being nourished with the words of the faith and of the good teaching which you have closely followed.

2 Tim. 2:15—Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, an unashamed workman, cutting straight the word of the truth.

2 Tim. 3:14-17—But you, continue in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from which ones you have learned them and that from a babe you have known the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise unto salvation through the faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.
