Day 349: Prayer for the saints to practice the God-ordained way with faithfulness, endeavoring, patience, endurance, and much prayer
Pray that, by the Lord’s grace, the saints would practice the God-ordained way with faithfulness, endeavoring, patience, endurance, and much prayer (Matt. 25:21; 1 Cor. 4:2; 1 Thes. 1:3; Rom. 1:9; Col. 4:2; cf. Isa. 42:1, 4).
Matt. 25:21—His master said to him, Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful over a few things; I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your master.
1 Cor. 4:2—Here, furthermore, it is sought in stewards that one be found faithful.
1 Thes. 1:3—Remembering unceasingly your work of faith and labor of love and endurance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father.
Rom. 1:9—For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of His Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you always in my prayers.
Col. 4:2—Persevere in prayer, watching in it with thanksgiving.
Isa. 42:1, 4—Here is My Servant, whom I uphold, / My chosen One in whom My soul delights; / I have put My Spirit upon Him, / And He will bring forth justice to the nations…He will not faint, nor will He be discouraged, / Until He has established justice in the earth; / And the coastlands will wait for His instruction.
