Day 307: Prayer for the saints to build up the new ones in four crucial practices of the Christian life

Pray that the saints would build up the new ones in four crucial practices of the Christian life—reading the Bible, praying always, keeping morning revival, and attending the meetings (2 Tim. 3:15-16 and note 162; 1 Thes. 5:17-18 and note 171; Prov. 4:18 and note 181; Lam. 3:22-24 and note 241; Heb. 10:25).

2 Tim. 3:15-16—And that from a babe you have known the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise unto salvation through the faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

1 Thes. 5:17-18—Unceasingly pray, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Prov. 4:18—But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, / Which shines brighter and brighter until the full day.

Lam. 3:22-24—It is Jehovah’s lovingkindness that we are not consumed, / For His compassions do not fail; / They are new every morning; / Great is Your faithfulness. / Jehovah is my portion, says my soul; / Therefore I hope in Him.

Heb. 10:25—Not abandoning our own assembling together, as the custom with some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more as you see the day drawing near.
