Day 20: Prayer for the saints to prove the Lord by offering themselves as the “tithe” to Him
Pray that the saints would prove the Lord and testify to His reality by offering on the altar both their material offerings and themselves as the “tithe” to the Lord that they may experience His abundant blessing—His mingling with them by His burning (Lev. 27:30; Deut. 14:22-23; Num. 6:2; Psa. 110:3; Rom. 12:1; Mal. 3:10).
Lev. 27:30—And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is Jehovah’s; it is holy to Jehovah.
Deut. 14:22-23—You must give a tenth of all the produce of your seed, which the field brings forth, year by year. And you shall eat before Jehovah your God, in the place where He will choose to cause His name to dwell, the tithe of your grain, of your new wine, and of your fresh oil and the firstborn of your herd and flock, that you may learn to fear Jehovah your God always.
Num. 6:2—Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, When a man or a woman makes a special vow, the vow of a Nazarite, to separate himself to Jehovah.
Psa. 110:3—Your people will offer themselves willingly / In the day of Your warfare, / In the splendor of their consecration. / Your young men will be to You / Like the dew from the womb of the dawn.
Rom. 12:1—I exhort you therefore, brothers, through the compassions of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service.Mal. 3:10—Bring the whole tithe to the storehouse that there may be food in My house; and prove Me, if you will, by this, says Jehovah of hosts, whether I will open to you the windows of heaven and pour out blessing for you until there is no room for it.
