Day 11: Prayer for the saints to see the tremendous benefits of prayer

Pray that the saints would be impressed with the tremendous benefits of prayer both to the Lord’s Body corporately and to themselves personally as an encouragement to persevere in prayer this year (Col. 4:2; 3:1-2; Heb. 4:16; Hymns, #770, s. 1).

Col. 4:2—Persevere in prayer, watching in it with thanksgiving.

Col. 3:1-2—If therefore you were raised together with Christ, seek the things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things which are above, not on the things which are on the earth.

Heb. 4:16—Let us therefore come forward with boldness to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace for timely help.
