Day 4: Prayer for a renewed consecration (4)—yielding to the Lord

Pray that at the beginning of the new year the saints would have an absolute consecration of handing themselves over to the Lord and yielding their person to Him for the practical church life (2 Cor. 5:14-15; Rom. 12:1).

2 Cor. 5:14-15—For the love of Christ constrains us because we have judged this, that One died for all, therefore all died; and He died for all that those who live may no longer live to themselves but to Him who died for them and has been raised.

Rom. 12:1—I exhort you therefore, brothers, through the compassions of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service.
