Day 346: Prayer for the saints to take the laboring way
Pray that in their practice of the God-ordained way the saints would take the laboring way, not being disappointed or expecting quick results (Rom. 15:16 and note 162; Col. 1:29; 4:12-13; Prov. 14:23).
Rom. 15:16—That I might be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, a laboring priest of the gospel of God, in order that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, having been sanctified in the Holy Spirit.
Col. 1:29—For which also I labor, struggling according to His operation which operates in me in power.
Col. 4:12-13—Epaphras, who is one of you, a slave of Christ Jesus, greets you, always struggling on your behalf in his prayers that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God. For I testify of him that he labors much for you and for those in Laodicea and for those in Hierapolis.
Prov. 14:23—In all labor there is profit, / But mere talk leads only to poverty.
