Day 121: Prayer for the saints to be perfected in their personal fellowship with the Lord (1)

Pray that the saints would be perfected in their personal fellowship with the Lord, learning to quiet their being before Him, reject all of the enemy’s distractions, and cast all their anxieties on Him (Psa. 37:7a; 131:2; Isa. 30:15; Phil. 4:6-7 and notes 7¹ and 7²; 1 Pet. 5:7; Hymns, #643, s. 4; Hymns, #771, ss. 6-7).

Psa. 37:7a—Be still before Jehovah, and wait for Him.

Psa. 131:2—Surely I have calmed / And quieted my soul, / Like a weaned child with its mother; / Like a weaned child is my soul within me.

Isa. 30:15—For thus says the Lord Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, / In returning and rest you will be saved; / In quietness and in trust will be your strength; / But you were not willing.

Phil. 4:6-7—In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses every man’s understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

1 Pet. 5:7—Casting all your anxiety on Him because it matters to Him concerning you.
