Day 199: Prayer for the saints to know the Lord’s name with His authority as the power of the gospel
Pray that in their preaching the saints would employ the Lord’s name with His authority as the power of the gospel (Acts 3:6; 4:10-12; Matt. 28:18-19).
Acts 3:6—But Peter said, Silver and gold I do not possess, but what I have, this I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene rise up and walk.
Acts 4:10-12—Let it be known to you all and to all the people of Israel that in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified and whom God has raised from the dead, in this name this man stands before you in good health. This is the stone which was considered as nothing by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner. And there is salvation in no other, for neither is there another name under heaven given among men in which we must be saved.
Matt. 28:18-19—And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and disciple all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
