Day 195: Prayer for the saints to receive and carry out the great commission of Christ in resurrection

Pray that by the Lord’s grace the saints would receive and carry out the great commission of Christ in resurrection to disciple the nations and teach them the teachings of Christ, to proclaim the gospel to all the creation, to proclaim repentance for forgiveness of sins, and to witness a resurrected Christ appointed by God to be the Lord and Christ and the Leader and Savior (Matt. 28:19-20a; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:47; Acts 2:32, 36; 5:30-32).

Matt. 28:19-20a—Go therefore and disciple all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.

Mark 16:15—And He said to them, Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to all the creation.

Luke 24:47—And that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

Acts 2:32, 36—This Jesus God has raised up, of which we all are witnesses…Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made Him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you have crucified.

Acts 5:30-32—The God of our fathers has raised Jesus, whom you slew by hanging Him on a tree. This One God has exalted to His right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. And we are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him.
