Prayer for God to place in positions of power those whom He wills

Pray that God, as the One who deposes kings and causes kings to ascend, would place in power those whom He wills at every level of government for the carrying out of His economy on the earth (Dan. 2:21a; Psa. 75:4-7; Jer. 27:5; Rom. 13:1).

Dan. 2:21a—And it is He who changes the times and seasons; / He deposes kings and causes kings to ascend.

Psa. 75:4-7—I said to the boastful, Do not boast; / And to the wicked, Do not lift up the horn. / Do not lift your horn on high; / Do not speak arrogantly with a haughty neck. / For neither from the east nor from the west, / And neither from the south, does exaltation come; / For God is the Judge: / He puts this one down and exalts that one.

Jer. 27:5—It is I who made the earth, and the people and the animals who are on the face of the earth, by My great power and by My outstretched arm; and I give it to whomever it seems right in My own eyes.

Rom. 13:1—Let every person be subject to the authorities over him, for there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are ordained by God.
