Prayer that the saints would come to the cross and offer Christ to God for the forgiveness of this country

모든 성도들이 십자가로 가서 하나님께 그리스도를 바치도록, 하나님께서 의로운 하나님이신 그분을 범하는 이 나라의 부도덕성과 혼돈을 용서하시도록 기도하고, 그분께서 우리 주 예수님께서 죽으신 십자가를 기억하셔서 우리가 살고 있는 이 나라를 구원하시도록 요청하는 기도를 합시다 (창 8:20-22; 단 9:4-5, 8-11, 19-20).

Gen. 8:20-22—And Noah built an altar to Jehovah and took of every clean beast and of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And Jehovah smelled the satisfying fragrance; and Jehovah said in His heart, I will never again curse the ground on account of man, for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; nor will I ever again smite everything living as I have done. Throughout all the days that earth remains, / Seed time and harvest, and cold and heat, / And summer and winter, and day and night / Shall not cease.

Dan. 9:4-5—And I prayed to Jehovah my God and confessed; and I said, Ah, Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and lovingkindness with those who love Him and keep His commandments, we have sinned and have committed iniquity, and we have acted wickedly and rebelled, to the point of even turning away from Your commandments and from Your judgments. 

단 9:8-11 — 오, 여호와님! 저희와 저희의 왕들과 우두머리들과 조상들이 얼굴에 수치 뿐인 것은 저희가 주님께 죄를 지었기 때문입니다. 주 저희 하나님은 자비로우시고 용서를 베푸시나, 저희는 그분을 거역하였습니다. 저희는 여호와 저희 하나님의 음성에 순종하지 않았고, 그분의 종 신언자들의 손을 통하여 저희 앞에 두신 그분의 지시에 따라 행하지도 않았습니다. 참으로 온 이스라엘이 주님의 율법을 어겼고, 심지어 빗나가 주님의 음성에도 순종하지 않았습니다. 그리하여 하나님의 종 모세의 율법에 기록된 바로 그 맹세대로 저주가 저희에게 내린 것은 저희가 그분께 죄를 지은 까닭입니다.

단 9:19-20 — 오, 주님, 들어 주십시오! 오, 주님, 용서하여 주십시오! 오, 주님, 들으시고 행동하여 주십시오! 오,저의 하나님, 주님 자신을 위하여 지체하지 말아 주십시오.이는 주님의 성과 주님의 백성이 주님의 이름으로 불리는 까닭입니다." 내가 이렇게 아뢰며 기도하고 내 죄와 내 백성 이스라엘의 죄를 자백하며 내 하나님의 거룩한 산을 위하여 여호와 나의 하나님 앞에서 간청하고 있을 때
