Day 309: Prayer for the saints to see the purpose of perfecting

성도들이 온전케 됨의 목적이 그들이 그리스도의 몸을 유기적으로 건축하기 위한 사역의 일을 하게 되는 것임을 이해할 수 있도록 기도합시다 (엡 4:11-16 및 12절 각주 12¹, 12², 12³, 12⁴, 16¹, 살전 2:11, 골 1:28-29, 찬송가 , 840장 3-4절).

Eph. 4:11-16—And He Himself gave some as apostles and some as prophets and some as evangelists and some as shepherds and teachers, for the perfecting of the saints unto the work of the ministry, unto the building up of the Body of Christ, until we all arrive at the oneness of the faith and of the full knowledge of the Son of God, at a full-grown man, at the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, that we may be no longer little children tossed by waves and carried about by every wind of teaching in the sleight of men, in craftiness with a view to a system of error, but holding to truth in love, we may grow up into Him in all things, who is the Head, Christ, out from whom all the Body, being joined together and being knit together through every joint of the rich supply and through the operation in the measure of each one part, causes the growth of the Body unto the building up of itself in love.

살전 2:11 — 우리가 여러분 각 사람에게 어떻게 대했는지는 여러분이 알고 있는 바와 같이, 우리는 아버지가 자기 자녀들에게 하듯이 여러분에게 권유하고 위로하고 증언했습니다.

골 1:26-29 — 이 비밀은 영원부터 모든 세대에 걸쳐 감추어져 있었으나,이제는 그분의 성도들에게 나타났습니다. 하나님은 이 비밀의 영광이 이방인들 가운데서 얼마나 풍성한지를 성도들에게 알리기 원하셨습니다. 이 비밀은 여러분 안에 계신 그리스도인데, 곧 영광의 소망입니다. 우리가 그분을 전파하여 온갖 지혜로 각 사람에게 권면하고 각 사람을 가르치는 것은, 각 사람을 그리스도 안에서 충분히 성장한 사람으로 하나님께 드리기 위한 것입니다. 이것을 위하여 나도 내 안에서 능력으로 운행하시는 분의 운행에 따라 수고하며 분투하고 있습니다.
