Y or\u00e9 a Jehov\u00e1 mi Dios, e hice confesi\u00f3n...Ahora pues, oh Dios nuestro, oye la oraci\u00f3n de Tu siervo y sus s\u00faplicas, y haz que Tu rostro resplandezca sobre Tu santuario asolado, por amor del Se\u00f1or. Inclina, oh Dios m\u00edo, Tu o\u00eddo y oye; abre Tus ojos y mira nuestras desolaciones y la ciudad que es llamada por Tu nombre...Mientras segu\u00eda hablando, orando, confesando mi pecado y el pecado de mi pueblo Israel y presentando mi s\u00faplica delante de Jehov\u00e1 mi Dios por el santo monte de mi Dios, a\u00fan estaba hablando en oraci\u00f3n, cuando el var\u00f3n Gabriel...vino a m\u00ed, estando yo muy cansado, como al tiempo de la oblaci\u00f3n de la tarde. Y me inform\u00f3, y habl\u00f3 conmigo diciendo: Daniel, ahora he salido para darte perspicacia con entendimiento.
